Packaged Pumping Stations

Pumpac creates a range of pre-assembled pumping systems individually designed to meet all the demands of the projects into which they will be incorporated. For many applications our pump sets will stand alone, be they booster pump sets or sewage pump packages. Here we aim to provide a well designed product that is energy efficient, user friendly and reliable and built using only good quality components.

For other applications we also aim to combine our IT skills with our hydraulic engineering experience to manufacture pump assemblies that, whilst performing the primary task of delivering water at controlled pressures in a smooth and efficient manner, can be easily integrated into management and maintenance systems.

This may be local with the pump set working as part of a building management system, a production process within a factory or under the supervision of an irrigation controller or PC. Alternatively this may be as part of a wider network with its control centre many miles away such as a water utility pump station or the clean water pump sets at all the locations of a chain of motels.

In both local and wider area networks our aim is for remote monitoring and control to enable greater reliability within the system and reduce maintenance and management costs.

Our History

Pumpac Ltd is a direct descendant of Irriturf, a leading UK sports turf irrigation contractor which started trading in 1996. By mid 2002 Irriturf boasted a project sheet of over 100 installations in the UK and France, including many top golf courses and other prestigious and important sites.

Irriturf built the pump-sets for all of these contracts in-house and as manufacturer, installer and maintainer we progressively enhanced the product until we felt the designs in the Golf range optimised what the market was looking for. As Irriturf was disbanded as a contractor in 2002 to make way for Pumpac Ltd, registered in 2002, the designs and software were transferred to Pumpac and we have since concentrated on adapting the technology and products to suite the varying requirements of the different pump station markets.
